An orthopedic outpatient clinic is looking to hire a physical therapist to join their team! This state of the art clinic is located in Osprey, FL. Outpatient experience is preferred but will consider new graduates. This facility fosters the growth of individuals and provides mentorship and in-service education throughout your time working here. M, W, F - 8-6pm
T, Th - 8-3pm Job responsibilities:
- Restores patient's function, alleviates pain, and prevents disabilities by planning and administering medically prescribed physical therapy
- Meets the patient's goals and needs and provides quality care by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results; determining physical therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians or by prescription
- Helps patient accomplish treatment plan and accept therapeutic devices by administering manual exercises - instructing, encouraging, and assisting patients in performing physical activities, such as nonmanual exercises, ambulatory functional activities, and daily-living activities and in using assistive and supportive devices
- Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Job Requirements:
FL Physical Therapy license
Outpatient orthopedic experience strongly preferred
Knowledge of a wide variety of diagnoses treatment plans
Experience with musculoskeletal conditions, total knee/hip replacement and back pain
