Description
Title: Speech Language Pathologist
Location: Aurora, IL
Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm (Monday – Friday) or 7:30am-3:00pm (Monday – Friday)
Compensation: Flexible Compensation Package
Environment: We are in need of multiple speech language pathologists serving students ranging from kindergarten through 8th grade
Job Description: We are looking for passionate special language pathologists for a full-time position in Aurora, IL for the 22-23 school year. Candidates will be providing coverage for employees on maternity leave. You will be responsible for the following:
• Provide direct services in language development/articulation for students identified as having a speech-language impairment.
• Provide screening and diagnostic services for students referred for assessment/evaluation.
• Provide interpretation of results of screenings/diagnostic assessments to the IEP or evaluation team.
• Develop and maintain Individual Education Plans for special education students with SL goals.
• Report progress to parents as required.
• Collaborate with general and special education staff regarding academic skills and needs.
• Communicate with parents and colleagues effectively.
• Case load of 20-22 students
Qualifications:
Must:
• Illinois Speech Pathology certification/endorsement
• Master's Degree in Speech and Language Pathology
• Experience with middle school children preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of experience
