Adelphi is seeking Occupational Therapists to provide Occupational Therapy Services for a school district located in Yakima- Washington. The Occupational Therapists will provide appropriate occupational therapy services to students of the school district through evaluations, observations and consultations.

Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from an American Occupational Therapy Association-approved institution. • ESA School Occupational certificate. • Active license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state Washington. • National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. • Dedication to professional growth and development. • Maintain confidentiality.
Responsibilities: • Assess referred students for special education through appropriate testing and diagnostic practice. • Interpret testing results and implications to school staff, parents and students as needed. • Writes occupational therapy reports and completes eligibility reports. • Confers with teachers and parents through conducting classroom observations and provide feedback. • Participate in student support meetings, and assisting in collaborative problem-solving. • Contribute to the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEP). • Other duties assigned by the Director of Special Services.
