Adelphi is seeking Physical Therapists to provide Physical Therapy Services for a school district located in Yakima Washington. The Physical Therapist will provide appropriate physical therapy services to students of the school through physical therapy evaluations, observations and consultations.

Requirements: • Bachelor's degree program in physical therapy from an American Physical Therapy Association-approved institution. • ESA School physical therapist certificate. • National Board for Certification in Physical Therapy. • Active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state Washington. • Dedication to professional growth and development. • Maintain confidentiality.
Responsibilities: • Assess referred students for special education through appropriate testing and diagnostic practice. • Interpret testing results and implications to school staff, parents and students as needed. • Write physical therapy reports and complete eligibility reports. • Confer with teachers and parents through conducting classroom observations and provide feedback. • Participate in student support meetings, and assist in collaborative problem-solving. • Contribute to the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEP) • Establish and maintain a professional and positive working relationship with students, parents, staff and the general public. • Other duties assigned by the Director of Special Services.
