Adelphi is seeking Physical Therapists to provide physical therapy services to students in schools in diverse locations in Colorado. • Master of Physical Therapy degree or Doctor of Physical Therapy degree
• Active Colorado License
Responsibilities:
• Provide direct and indirect (consult) physical therapy support to students as needed.
• Provide orientation and mobility evaluation and re-evaluation support for students.
• Identify architectural barriers and provide recommendations for accessibility.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records as required by administrative regulations.
• Make environmental modifications and train staff to manage the students’ physical needs.
• Evaluate students, identify and document goals, and participate in Intervention or IEP meetings, providing direct motor-based physical therapy services as directed.
• Collaborate and communicate with teachers, staff, and parents about student therapy plans and strategies that address motor skill areas.
• Analyze risk, problem solve effectively and demonstrate a high level of professional judgment when recommending and providing services.
• Work in conjunction with other therapists and staff members to ensure a comprehensive team approach to student treatment.
• Other duties as assigned by administration.
