Requirements:
• Valid occupational therapy licenses and certifications for New Jersey.
• Relevant experience providing occupational therapy services in a school environment
• Knowledge and experience with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and Child Study Teams.

Responsibilities:
• Provide occupational therapy services.
• Collaborate with the Child Study Team’s administrative and medical staff.
• Work under the supervision of the Board’s Supervisor of Special Services.
• Delivering therapy as specified in each student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
• Developing measurable goals and objectives for each student’s IEP.
• Preparing summary statements regarding educational status.
• Completing semi-annual progress reports.
• Consulting with teachers and team members to integrate therapeutic strategies into educational programs.
• Conducting periodic initial evaluations and reevaluations of students’ performance and needs.
• Participating in parent conferences as part of the team.
• Providing in-service educational programs for staff development as needed.
• Performing occupational therapy evaluations as recommended by the Child Study Team and approved
  by the Director of Special Services.
