Responsibilities:

As an Occupational Therapist, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Conducting thorough assessments of patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional capabilities to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administering a range of occupational therapy interventions and techniques to help patients improve their daily living skills, independence, and overall quality of life.
• Collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams and medical professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
• Documenting patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes accurately and comprehensively.
• Demonstrating expertise in hand therapy and effectively treating patients with hand-related conditions.
• Providing education to patients and their families about adaptive techniques, assistive devices, and strategies for enhancing function.
• Adapting treatment plans to meet the diverse needs and goals of patients across various age groups.
• Creating a positive and supportive therapeutic environment that encourages patient engagement and progress.

Qualifications:

• Valid Louisiana Occupational Therapist (OT) license.
• 1-5 years of experience in occupational therapy, with a preference for candidates with a hand therapy concentration.
• Strong clinical skills in assessing and treating patients of all ages.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while delivering high-quality care.

Financial Package:

• Hourly rate ranging from $31 to $47 per hour, based on experience.
