Description
This is a 125-bed hospital located in Eastern New Mexico. They take pride in delivering excellent patient care to residents and visitors providing a wide range of general acute care and specialty services. This is a close knit community that offers a multitude of fun. From rodeo events to cultural art series performances, to music festivals, there is plenty to do in this little New Mexico town!
Immediate Need for a License Physical Therapist for our Acute Care Inpatient -Outpatient Department
75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS . Please note time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be considered for approval. Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved.?
2 years’ experience in current specialty required. Must have Inpatient Experience. Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment. When submitting candidates include at least two references (one must be from current manager), a resume, and completed skills checklist/competency assessment.
CERTIFICATIONS: Must have a PT License. - BLS certifications required. BLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
ORIENTATION: The 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training.
SHIFT: 8 hour DAYS - shift starts at 8:00 am. Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. Weekend and holiday may be required. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location. Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts.
