This 117-bed acute care medical and surgical hospital is located near the Blue Ridge Mountains. A regional referral center, this medical center has been certified as a Primary Stroke Center and recognized as a Cancer Care Center. In your spare time, explore a local gem mine, go river rafting or tubing, visit a local brewery, or hike the many trails for hikers of all skill levels. There are also plenty of museums, gardens, and art galleries to visit.
